Alaska, you beauty

I’m tired and sick and fuzzy brained but I have hours to kill in the airport right now, so here’s my Alaska recap from August. It was pretty and green full of cool plants and animals. Lots to explore! Looking forward to going back!

My Dad and Tamara book a place with a view. Lucky me to tag along.

Solo walk narrowly avoiding moose and bear. Was stoked about the birches, aspens, and cottonwoods!

Dad and I hiked up K’esugi Ridge to spend a couple nights with the mosquitoes.

Camp. Sometimes with fog, sometimes without.

Came down and touched the Chulitna river and saw all the nice things growing around it.

Last hike! Along center creek. So green :)

Aside from my bucketloads of iNaturalist plant ID phone photos, I exclusively used the film camera mid-June to early-August. Which helps me to not have an overwhelming amount of photos to sort through now. Which is great. So here's some of them.
