Wet Woods
I'm a little behind on these, so I won't get too wordy on this one, but here are my photos from my first camping outing of the year back in March. After some wet volunteer tree planting down in Packwood, I decided to prolong my time in the woods and spend the following 24 hours in some quiet corners of the Gifford Pinchot that I'd yet to visit. With an agreeable amount of rain of course.
Lots of closed roads in March, but trail #89 to Glacier Lake was accessible to my relief.

Lots of gangly little Pacific Yews. They excite me, but they aren't the most photogenic trees...
Exploring north of Randle, I found another valley of remnant old growth. Big doug firs!
